| ~ Official Description |
Tibit is one of the five planets that reside within the Severin Sector. It compares quite similarly to Turing in the Umlaut Sector. As part of operation Swift Disassembly, intel analysts were able to identify the planet as the most significant producer of illegal
Automaton combatants in the sector.
Topography[]
The planet is comparable to Turing in the Umlaut Sector, with it's landscape characterized by dense forests and rocky plateaus. Many helldivers remarked on its vibrant, colorful plant life, which spreads silent and uninterrupted across its entire surface. Some
Helldivers have also referred to Tibit to as a purple Malevelon Creek, both due to some similar terrain and it's status as a former
Automaton stronghold.
Though originally an underpopulated frontier world at the start of the second galactic war, millions of innocent families who had lost their homes on other war-torn worlds would be generously resettled on Tibit. This new wave of settlers would found the cities of Nuova Roma and Freedom Eternal, which have thankfully avoided experiencing any more horrors of this age of conflict.
History[]
Special Military Operations[]
Operation Swift Disassembly[]
Liberating this planet would significantly impact the enemy’s capacity to replenish decommissioned socialists. It would also limit further theft of the planet’s natural resources from future generations of inarguably sentient humans. However following the setback that was the Ubanea Gambit and despite a valiant effort by the
Helldivers to regain the initiative even with the failure of a major order looming, the Automatons would ultimately hold Tibit and it's manufacturing facilities, at least for the time being.
In the aftermath the
Automatons would begin increasing production elsewhere through the use of Factory Striders and Gunship Facilities, decreasing Tibit's strategic value. However intercepted bot chatter includes expressions of great sorrow for the "murder" of in-development bots - a transparent attempt at disinformation, as bots can neither feel nor be considered alive. Even so, the simulated oaths of vengeance may indicate actual strategic intent. With a counteroffensive likely.
After successfully weathering the
Automatons desperate counter attack, Tibit was finally liberated during the fourth and final phase of Operation Swift disassembly. Though much of the worlds industry had been moved off world, the destruction of the remaining factories on the planet forced the enemy to distribute their existing forces more thinly, lowering their planetary resistance (from 1.5% to 0.5%). This would be the beginning of the end for the
Automatons, with the Severin Sector being fully liberated a day later. Out of an abundance of caution,
S.E.A.F. teams would search what remains of
Automaton facilities and servers for any additional intelligence, right up until the surprise invasion of the Valdis Sector and Lacaille Sector several days later.
Second Galactic War[]
Operation Omens Undone[]
Tibit was attacked in the late hours of April 27th, 2185. This was the first attack it had faced since its final liberation from the Automatons. Instead of the mechanical fiends dropping onto the planet, the
Illuminate were the ones lay waste to the cities on the surface. Questions have been raised about this attack, wondering what the
Illuminate were planning when attacking the planet. The autocratic intentions of the Illuminate that had attacked the planet remain shrouded in mystery, with it being unknown what they could gain from the planet. It is possible the Automatons left something on the Planet that was not found or the
Automatons discovered a
Illuminate Artifact that they simply left in one place. Despite the valliant efforts of the
Helldivers, the defence would be lost, with
S.E.A.F. recon teams sent to assess the damages and current state of the Derelict Automaton Factories and to see if anything was taken or left behind.

Trivia[]
- Tibit was one of the planets that suffered incredible losses during the contentious move of Creekers to stay on Malevelon Creek leading up to Tibit falling to Automaton Control for a time. It is still a contentious discussion, as some believe the immense death toll and time it took to liberate would of been significantly reduced should
Helldivers on the Creek have helped. - Tibit was the deadliest Automaton planet liberated, with 47,806,703 KIA dying in the process of liberating the planet up until July 2024.
- It would be surpassed by Menkent with 92,620,293 Helldivers KIA as of October 9th, 2184.
- Following the addition of Cities to the Automaton Front, Tibit would gain two cities, though they have yet to be seen in game due to Tibit's distance from the current frontline.
