The Tanis Sector is inhabited area of galaxy in Helldivers 2. Located on galactic north from 
Super Earth, it contains 6 colonized systems. The sector was largely a peaceful one throughout much of the early months of the war, but would fall under 
Automaton control from September 2184 onwards.

- Tanis is the Greek name for an ancient city located in the Nile Delta region in Egypt. It was also a important site as it once served as the central shipyard for the Ancient Egyptian Navy before the invasion of the Sea Peoples.
- In the game Home world 2, the Hiigaran mothership was built at the Tanis Shipyard hidden in a progenitor derelict site.
