The Sol System is an inhabited area of galaxy in Helldivers 2. It consists of a single inhabited system, with two colonized planets. The Sol System is our home amongst the stars and a beacon of freedom that banishes the darkness of tyranny.

- The fact that only Mars and Super Earth are visible in the Galactic Map could mean that the rest of the planets in the Solar System could not be colonized as of 2184.
- This could also just be a result of technical limitations that can arise from trying to fit all 8 planets in our solar system plus 4 dwarf planets, alongside their theoretically colonizable satellites such as Io, Phobos, Deimos, Ganimede, Europa, Titan, Rhea, etc., while trying to keep the Galactic Map legible and optimized.
- The Sol System is the name for our home star system under the real life Astronomical Naming Convention. Under said system, Earth's and Mars' names would be Sol III and Sol IV respectively.
- During the First Galactic War, the Sol System was next to the Wise Region, Centaury Region, and Sirius Region.
- It is worth noting that the Sol System is possibly the only system in the galaxy to have more than 1 inhabitable planet, as all of the other planets in Helldivers 2 are always referred to as "The [planet name] system" whenever the players travel to it
