The R-63 Diligence is the standard marksman rifle in Helldivers 2. Filling the primary weapon slot, it is a light armor penetrating weapon which excels at engaging enemies at range.
It is unlocked upon reaching the second page of the standard war bonds. A modified variant of this weapon, the R-63CS Diligence Counter Sniper, is available on page seven.

The R-63 is primarily a weapon for engaging enemies at a distance with precise fire. For this reason it is mostly useful against Automatons who mostly use ranged weapons. While it can be fired from the hip the low rate of fire and ammo capacity make it ill suited for this role. It is recommended to pair it up with a decent side arm for a diver to switch to when fighting in close quarters. It is also recommended any marksman using this find decent cover as enemies tend to know where everyone in a squad is the moment fighting starts.
