| “ | This planet has been completely infested by the Terminids, transformed inside and out into a hive of Tyranny. | „ |
| ~ Official Description |
Oshaune is one of the four planets that reside within the Mirin Sector. It serves as a dual border planet with both the Draco Sector, through its FTL line with Fori Prime, and with the L'estrade Sector, through its line with Omicron.
Following its absorption into The Gloom, Oshaune was slowly terraformed by the
Terminids into a Hive World comparable to what the Meridian Supercolony once was, a horrific discovery made once Operation Righteous Reclamation began in full.
On September 7th, 2185, Oshaune surpassed Estanu as the planet with the highest Helldiver death toll in the galaxy, with a final death toll of 270,877,942
Helldivers killed in action as of December 17th, 2185.

The planet's physical features were comparable to the British Isles prior to the Last Great War, particularly the once-emerald isle of Ireland. Oshaune's landscape was quite varied, featuring wide expanses of lush, green valley's hidden amongst hilly highlands composed of limestone, bordered by a series of jagged coastal mountains. The mountains on Oshaune's coastline were generally made of granite or red sandstone, depending on the mountain's location. The climate of Oshaune was mild, humid and changeable with abundant rainfall and a lack of temperature extremes. Fog was also common on Oshaune, with rainstorms being a regular ocurrence.
A Helldiver discovers the mysterious fossils of an unknown superorganism inside of a cave in Oshaune. September 2nd, 2185.
A year after being devoured by The Gloom, Oshaune was discovered to have been terraformed in its totality. The once lush, green, beautiful pastures have been reduced to boneyards of sickly yellow sand where the dried husks of fascists perform one final act of defiling against Liberty's creation, guarded by their own wretched offspring as their larvae gestates into new horrors of an unfathomably repugnant nature inside of the massive mounds and spires built by their nauseating kin.
Jagged peaks now loom over horizon, and massive pools of yellowish water separate the dunes. The air itself is entirely saturated with spores and swarms of minuscule flying insects. The previously mentioned mounds are also full of bug-made tunnels that hide nests or lairs, built out of the same type of mysterious Terminid rock matter that has been noted in all other planets that have suffered the horrors of a Terminid outbreak.
A Helldiver finds the remains of two long dead SEAF Soldiers. September 4th, 2185.
The only remaining vestiges of what old Oshaune once was exist in the form of steep elevation changes that occur sporadically, as well as certain crucial Super Earth facilities such as E-710 Storage Depots and pipe networks that now lay entombed within the caves. Besides those few features, Helldivers have reported coming across the odd abandoned Break Action Shotgun or Anti-Material Rifle, their democratic owner indubitably reduced to just a dried husk embedded within the rock after one last stand against the tide of Tyranny. Most of these bodies are little more than piles of gnawed bones, but some Helldivers have come across the skeletons of SEAF Soldiers, who appeared to have survived for some time after the planet was blanketed by The Gloom. Only Liberty knows what horrors they bore witness to before perishing.
Within the massive cave systems that cover Oshaune's surface lay several mysterious forms of Terminid xenoflora, much of it bearing a mysterious resemblance to terrestrial coral. According to some mission reports gathered during Operation Righteous Reclamation, fossils of unknown organisms can be occasionally found embedded within the walls, while barnacle like organism can occasionally be found in clusters among the rock.
The putrid miasma of Oshaune, a ghastly husk of a once verdant world.
The Oshaune System consists of planet Oshaune itself, its moon and at least two other astronomical bodies, which are an unknown dwarf planet and a gas giant. It is not yet known whether or not the Terminid Terraformation stopped only on planet Oshaune itself or if the neighboring dwarf planet and other solid astronomical bodies in the Oshaune System were also affected.
Prior to the activation of the Terminid Control System, Oshaune had been lost during the initial Terminid Outbreak of 2184 and was only accessible once the TCS was activated on the Barrier Planets. Following the activation of the TCS, Oshaune would remain a frontline world that, while occasionally being successfully liberated, would mostly remain under Terminid control until the failure of the TCS made advancing into Oshaune impossible. With the apparition of The Gloom, Oshaune's fate was sealed, forever locking it away from freedom and now condemning it to becoming one of many Terminid Hive Worlds within the fascist nebula.
Following the liberation of Oshaune, this world has since been converted into an E-711 Extraction Facility, with every individual inch being scalped clean off the rot of the Terminid Horde as the
Ministry of Expansion combs the remains of this Hive World for every last drop of the valuable substance.
History[]
Special Military Operations[]
Activation of the Terminid Control System and after[]
A Helldiver proceeds towards their extraction after an operation in Fenmire. Prior to its assimilation into The Gloom, Oshaune was a grassland planet similar to Fenmire, Acamar IV, Achernar Secundus and Fort Union. Picture taken August 25th, 2185.
Oshaune was once a humble planet colony of Super Earth, having been settled during the Great Expansion Era after the end of the First Galactic War. Perhaps hailing from its Irish-rooted namesake, Oshaune had a blessing of good luck despite its remoteness. Once the Terminid Control System was installed on the Barrier Planets, Oshaune would see a quick and successful liberation campaign, as many Helldivers, sickened by the horrors of neighbouring Hellmire, wished to see greener pastures and deployed into Oshaune instead.
As time went on and the war raged on, Oshaune would have its fate mostly tied to that of Hellmire, with its liberations and defenses often coming shortly before or after Hellmire and/or Fori Prime had fallen or were being liberated, as it would receive any Helldivers that didn't wish to deploy into the previously mentioned planets, which were full of rough, coarse, irritating sand, plateaus, tremors and fire tornadoes.
Occasionally, Oshaune would remain free while other neighbouring planets fell to the Terminids, but this streak of good luck would seemingly come to an end once the Terminid Control System failed. It would be liberated in 3 occasions despite there not being any orders to liberate it, once during Operation CBCT Protection, another during the construction of E-710 Farms on Hellmire and other planets, and once again during Operation Enduring Bulwark, this last liberation contributing greatly to the success of Fori Prime's Defense Campaign.
Failure of the Terminid Control System[]
Once the Terminids developed resistance to the Termicide, they overran and terraformed Meridia into a Supercolony, unleashing chaos all over the Terminid Front. As expected, Oshaune's colonial defenses weren't capable of holding the line against the bolstered Terminid onslaught and, comprehensively, would fall to the fascist tide.
Operation Enduring Peace[]
However, luck would once more side with Oshaune, as scientists in Moradesh began to develop ways to deploy the Dark Fluid, with the ultimate purpose of destroying Meridia. On May 30th, the horrid Terminid Supercolony would be successfully collapsed into a black hole through the use of this superweapon, which immediately halted the Terminid onslaught and opened the lines back into the Draco and Mirin Sectors.
Operation Hive Breaker[]
On June 15th, a new major order would be issued after the successful rescue of trapped children at Vernen Wells. The Helldivers were to liberate all 3 planets of the Draco Sector, Hellmire and Nivel 43. Despite this, a sizeable portion of the Helldiver Corps, weathered from all the prior fighting on Hellmire and the recently re-liberated Fori Prime, decided to begin deploying on Oshaune on the late afternoon of June 18th, in technical defiance of Super Earth High Command Orders.
Operation Brute Force[]
Oshaune's streak of good luck would seemingly end in June, as the Helldivers would fail to hold Fori Prime for long enough and, soon after, would be pushed back, as the Terminids solidified their hold on Oshaune. Ever since, Oshaune remained under Terminid control, awaiting its return to Super Earth's embrace.
Some months after its fall, Oshaune would be engulfed by The Gloom, a nebula of Terminid Interstellar Spores. As such, SEAF Satellites were unable to monitor its status. Yet despite this, small pockets of soldiers from the
S.E.A.F. who had been left behind would survive for weeks, possibly even months before finally succumbing to the Terminid Swarm. Their remains would not be discovered until the
Helldivers returned to Oshaune, well over a year later.
Operation Righteous Reclamation[]
Image of Oshaune, from Operation Righteous Reclamation, with a terminid hive in the background.
After the entire year after being engulfed in the Gloom's spores, Liberty decided to give Oshaune a glimpse back into the beauty that fascism had so brazenly taken away. Following the expansion of the Helldiver Fleet and the establishment of Outpost Alpha on Hellmire on September 2nd, the Helldivers would receive orders to deploy onto Oshaune. However, what was observed can only be described as a most heinous atrocity against the beauty of Liberty's creation.
With initial geological scans of Oshaune showing signs of large-scale surface and subsurface terraformation, Oshaune was designated as a "Terminid Hive World" by Super Earth High Command and orders were sent for the Helldivers to deploy immediately. There,
Helldivers were tasked with variety of missions - from collecting samples using the new G.A.T.E.R vehicles, restarting the long overgrown oil rigs and performing geological surveys.
On this planet, Helldivers also had first contact with a mutated cousin of Bile Titan - The Winged Terror, that was nicknamed The Dragonroach. The Helldivers would also encounter a creature long thought to have been exterminated -- The Horror of the First Galactic War Incarnate, Hive Lords, gigantic worms that reached up to a hundred meters and could spit out cataclismic barrages of acid to wreak havoc. Additionally, both on Oshaune and Fori Prime, a new strain of Terminids dubbed the
Rupture Strain was discovered by the
Ministry of Defense, being a genus of Terminids comprised of Warriors, Chargers and Spewers that had evolved into new forms designed to burrow beneath the ground to then pop up from unexpected flanks in order to harass and ambush their enemies.
High Command ordered that samples both common and rare are gathered, while giving warnings for possible attacks on Outpost Alpha located on Hellmire. If Hellmire, and by extension Outpost Alpha, was lost, then the expedition into the Gloom would no longer be feasible due to the many logistical challenges posed by Gloom spores. While this Operation was ongoing, the
Helldivers reported that the Dragonroaches and Hive Lords were going in and outside the planet, for reasons still unknown.
By September 9th, the valiant
Helldiver Corps had been unable to reach the designated sample quotas, having been severely overwhelmed by the Terminids found on Oshaune. Regardless, this would be but a temporary setback that High Command was sure to redress when the time was right.
Operation Relentless Uproot[]
A Helldiver destroys a group of Terminids on the planet's surface. October 28th, 2185.
After the unsuccessful completion of the operation to collect samples by
Helldivers on the planet, the Command began a thorough study of all the factors that led to the failure of the Major Order. For many weeks, officers, analysts, ordinary military personnel and the elite had been preparing for the Second Battle of Oshaune, having previously destroyed (as far as is known on 10.28.2185) the entire Terminid population of the
Rupture Strain living on the planet. By the 21st of October, almost all of
SEAF's preparations for this dangerous operation had been completed, but the threat of another attack on the Gloom Base Alpha on Hellmire posed a great danger to this campaign, as a result of which the Command ordered to ensure the safety of the planet (and, of course, for the liberation of the planets occupied by bugs), ousting the Terminids from the planets Erata Prime and Estanu. In addition to the return of these worlds, the courageous defenders of Hellmire were attacked twice: first by Spore Burst Strain Terminids, and then by the
Predator Strain. The second attack was extremely difficult to repel, but the heroes of the
Federation were able to defeat the barbaric fascist insects.
A Helldiver exterminates Terminids in one of the planet's cave systems. October 28th, 2185.
And now that the celebration of Liberty Day has been completed, and the safety of Gloom Base Alpha is not in danger (apart from the presence of direct FTL communication with the currently occupied Oshaune), all preparatory stages have been completed. On the 28th of October, at 13:10 SEST, the Command ordered the start of the Second Battle of Oshaune, but with a more global goal – to liberate this once beautiful green planet, turned into a Hive World.
The Helldivers immediately began conducting operations all over the planet. As expected, no
Rupture Strain bugs were noticed, however, in addition to their absence (according to available data) due to extermination, the creepy Hive Lords were not noticed, which is an extremely unusual and unexpected fact that requires the study of xenoentomologists.
A squad of Helldivers, two of whom are piloting exosuits, are restoring the well's operation. October 28th, 2185.
At 15:35 SEST, the
Democracy Space Station entered the planet's orbit, providing significant support to the ground forces. The appearance of the crown of human military shipbuilding would not have been possible without previous efforts, including the application of improved protection against Gloom spores and the installation of a prototype atmospheric autoclave that sterilizes 50 cubic kilometers of spores per minute.
A Helldiver ensures the safety of the E-711 extraction by the GATER. October 28th, 2185.
At approximately 16:00 SEST, the Super Earth Armed Forces were able to turn the tide on the battlefield and begin liberating Oshaune from the tenacious and sharp paws of the Terminids. The destruction by the Helldivers of a huge number of different types of nests, spore lungs and other objects both in caves and on the surface has already helped take approximately 6% of the planet by 22:00 SEST. In addition, in parallel with the liberation, the work of the well stations, which are now producing E-711, is gradually being restored. The extraction of this valuable and promising resource is also carried out using the GATER vehicle.
Two Helldivers (one with a flamethrower) destroy Terminids in the caves of a Hive World. October 29th, 2185.
By approximately 11:30 SEST on October 29th, following extensive operations above and below ground, the
Super Earth Armed Forces had recaptured 25% of the planet's surface, a clear sign of the success of their preparatory efforts. However, fighting continues, and vast swaths of Oshaune remain occupied by the bugs that are defiling it and are not about to give up easily. Despite the reappearance of the missing
Rupture Strain Terminids that attacked Terrek and Gacrux, as of 14:11 SEST, no such insects have been detected on Oshaune itself.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of coordination, the
Helldivers taking part in the battles in the east were divided, but they did not achieve success on any of the planets. By 09:00 SEST on October 30th, the battlefield situation on both Terrek and Gacrux was catastrophic, and defeat was imminent. On Oshaune, the
Terminids were able to begin the slow reconquest of the territories liberated from their inhuman rule, which is why the area of territories controlled by the SEAF dropped below 25%. In addition, at 09:07 SEST, a major insect attack on Crimsica began, reaching the designation of the 32nd invasion level. In this criminal attack, as well as in the fascist terrorist actions of the Terminids on Terrek and Gacrux, the
Rupture Strain bugs were again caught.
A Helldiver watches the dragonroach being killed by an Orbital Railcannon Strike. October 30th, 2185.
The situation escalated by the hour and became a stalemate. The defense of Crimsica continued to use large resources of the
Corps, which is why the insect counter-offensive on Oshaune continued to develop its success even with the involvement of tens of thousands of Super Destroyers during this campaign. At approximately 23:30 SEST, the territory under the control of the Super Earth Armed Forces was reduced to 1/5 of the planet's area. The outrages of the
Terminids intensified on the 31st of October at 07:15 SEST, with their forces already controlling 82% of the planet. As a result, the rate of reduction of the liberated areas increased significantly, which is why the threshold of 15% of the territories occupied by
Super Earth was exceeded by bugs as early as 10:30 SEST, and by 14:00 SEST this figure had decreased to less than 11.5%. In the face of increasing fascist disobedience and the deepening inconsistency of the actions of the Helldiver units, only the miracle Lady Liberty could save the contingent participating in the Second Battle of Oshaune from defeat.
DSS and Super Destroyers in Oshaune orbit. October 31st, 2185.
And this miracle happened. While the situation on the field was becoming less and less favorable, the
DSS was preparing for decisive action against the Terminids. The Station's crew quickly completed their preparations for the activation of the Heavy Ordnance Distribution tactical action, beginning its execution approximately at 14:10 SEST. This invaluable support helped to significantly reduce the Terminid resistance level from 5% to 3.5%, making it possible to carry out a massive counter-offensive across the planet. In addition, several thousand Super Destroyers with
Helldivers on board also arrived in the orbit of Oshaune to support the third day of the fighting units. The fascist insects, stunned by such an abrupt turn of events, began to be displaced from the occupied surface of the planet at a very high rate, and the pace of liberation itself continues to grow.
A Helldiver looks at one of the first Hive Lords to return to the battlefield. October 31st, 2185.
At 16:50 SEST, the
S.E.A.F. Command sent a notification to all units confirming reports of the return of the Hive Lords to the battlefield. The appearance of these colossal monsters was caused by tectonic disturbances provoked by the sharply increased use of orbital bombardments by high-explosive 380-mm artillery shells from Super Destroyers, which were transferred from the DSS support fleet to all ships.
Being a formidable opponent, the Hive Lords partially reduced the pace of Oshaune's liberation, but these alleged leaders of the fascist
Terminid regime could not stop the advance. By midnight, the
Helldivers had managed to completely turn the momentum in their favor; now, over 34% of Oshaune's surface was liberated. Unfortunately this victory came at a heavy price for the regular infantry, with
S.E.A.F. forces in the planet being devastated. As a result, High Command would issue a minor order to the Helldivers to kill 50,000 Hive Lords to bring down enemy resistance.
To help facilitate this, High Command would authorized the EXO-49 Emancipator Exosuit Stratagem for all Oshaune deployments for the next 24 hours. The limited window of availability is all that can be afforded, due to our previous failure to liberate the second Morgunson Arsenal on Varylia 5. Unfortunately the bad news didn't end there, as the spore-resistance polymer shielding the DSS from the Gloom was beginning to show early signs of degradation. DSS operation remains unaffected for now, but Gloom spores will eventually eat through the polymer and damage the station, should the DSS remains within the Gloom for an extended period of time.
An armoured recon Helldiver piloting an EXO-49 exosuit examines the corpse of the Hive Lord he eliminated. November 1st, 2185.
The offensive on the Hive World continued for about 10 hours after the beginning of the destruction of the Gloom-resistant polymer shielding on the DSS was diagnosed. During the brave and calculated actions of the military,
Super Earth was able to liberate 50% of the planet on the 1st of November by 13:45 SEST, but when the time for the Heavy Ordnance Distribution tactical action expired, the bugs were able to take advantage of the reduced firepower of the SEAF units and launch a second counter-offensive. The liberated territory slowly began to shrink again, and the
Helldivers tried their best to contain the aggressive attacks of the
Terminids.
Two Helldivers piloting EXO-49 (near) and EXO-45 (far) exosuits are exterminating Terminids in caves. November 1st, 2185.
However, at 16:29 SEST,
Predator Strain insects stopped taking part in the battles. But this was a harbinger of a sharp deterioration in the SEAF's position on the planet, even worse than it was during their previous counter-offensive. Terminid activity on the planet has increased sharply to an unthinkable figure of 8%, which is even higher than it was before the start of both the First and Second Battles of Oshaune. In addition, a massive return of the
Rupture Strain bugs was recorded. It is not known for what reason the Predator Strain retreated and why it was replaced by the Rupture Strain. Despite the increased difficulties and new challenges, the military personnel of the
Super Earth Armed Forces continued to destroy the enemy. The tide soon began to turn and, at 20:06 SEST, the Helldivers had culled the directed amount of Hive Lords. As a result, Terminid resistance on Oshaune dropped significantly (8% to 4.5%), which allowed the combined forces of the
S.E.A.F. to rally and counter attack, regaining their footing on the planet.
EXO-49 destroys the spore lung in the cave with its autocannons. November 1st, 2185.
On evening of the 1st of November, 2185, engineers aboard the
DSS reported that the anti-spore polymer shielding of the station had become critically degraded following prolonged Gloom exposure. The station remained operational, but should it remain in Gloom space much longer, it would suffer a severe breakdown, requiring weeks to repair. However moving the DSS to Karlia to re-apply the polymer coating would prevent this damage. And thus, at 3:45 SEST, Helldivers have voted the DSS with 72% of votes to jump to Karlia. While it may temporarily remove the buff DSS provided, this action prevented catastrophic damage to the station that might have disabled it for long time.
The withdrawal of the DSS from battle, of course, greatly affected the course of the campaign on Oshaune, significantly slowing down the progress of the liberation of the planet. However, it is important that the expulsion of the
Terminids did not stop due to the restoration of high-quality coordination between the units deployed on the planet and on the Eastern Front as a whole. Focusing on destroying the injudicious and barbaric rule of the bugs on Oshaune allowed the pace of the offensive to gradually increase without the support of the DSS, which returned to optimal values of 0.6% of the planet's area per hour and continues to grow as of 12:53 SEST on November 2nd.
At 15:43 SEST, a polymer shielding resistant to Gloom spores was re-applied to continue the DSS' participation in the Second Battle of Oshaune. Fortunately, only the destroyed old coating was replaced, and the Station's other systems were not damaged, so after just 12 hours of active spraying work in Karlia's orbit, the pride of the Navy was ready for battle again. The arrival of the DSS in the orbit of Oshaune allowed to double the onslaught on the Terminids, as a result of which their resistance was reduced from 4.5% to 4%. With the
Democracy Space Station's arrival, the
Helldivers redoubled their efforts on Oshaune, aided by the DSS's active Eagle Storm booster as well. Now, the
Terminids were slowly but surely being put to the sword, as the Helldivers were now liberating the planet at an active rate of nearly 2% per hour- taking them well past 60% total liberation progress by 18:00 SEST.
A Helldiver reloads his weapon after killing an Impaler. November 2nd, 2185.
At 22:13 SEST, the Command sent a notification about the imminent liberation of the planet and the next expected increase in enemy resistance in this regard. The estimate turned out to be correct, as soon after that, the level of resistance to the liberation increased once again, this time to the designation of 5%. About an hour later, a phenomenon classified as Impaler Rampage was recorded, characterized by a significant increase in the number of Impalers. The pace of the offensive decreased somewhat, but the
Terminids were unable to turn the tide of battle with their desperate anger, and more than 70% of Oshaune returned to the control of the
Super Earth Armed Forces by 23:55 SEST.
On the 3rd of November, at 15:15 SEST, 85% of the territory of the Hive World has already come under SEAF control, to which the bugs responded by increasing the level of resistance on the planets Terrek, Bore Rock, Fori Prime, Crimsica, Gacrux. Thus, they once again decided that insubordination and hatred were the best way out of the situation they found themselves in. But the Federation's military, especially the
Helldivers, continued to exterminate millions of
Terminids, which are senselessly trying to take advantage of the continuing preponderance in numbers.
Yet, the
Helldivers would never waver. They bore the depths of the caverns, exterminated whatever few Hive Lords were even left, and left the
Rupture Strain in tatters as they expertly cleansed them bit by bit. By 20:00 SEST, liberation progress stood at 90% with 17 hours to go. The
Terminids were on the brink, and with the activation of the Orbital Blockade feature of the
Democracy Space Station, the bugs had no escape route. The tide of liberty was beginning to completely overshadow that of tyranny.
A Helldiver activates a mobile radar to detect passages in a cave system. November 4th, 2185.
By 00:00 SEST on November 4th, the
Terminids were virtually eliminated. 95% of Oshaune's surface was under
Super Earth control, and the
Helldivers had piled on 75.5% of their Corps onto Oshaune to finish off this bloody fight- the highest percentage of the Corps on the planet throughout the entirety of the battle to this point. For all the hardships experienced on this planet to this point- from the surge of Hive Lords, to the numerous resistance spikes caused by the
Rupture Strain, to the removal of the
Democracy Space Station- it seemed that the Terminids had exhausted all their fascistic fortunes, with their unthinking hubris replaced by the jubilant wave of Managed Democracy.
A landscape of the surface of Oshaune two hours before liberation. November 4th, 2185.
By 01:41 SEST, Managed Democracy had demonstrated its sheer dominance over mindless fascism- with 99% of Oshaune's surface now liberated. The
Helldivers, beset by so many difficulties throughout this violent battle, were now on the brink of perhaps their greatest victory against the
Terminid scourge yet.
At 02:03 SEST, it became official. The last Hive Lords were toppled. The last bits of the
Rupture Strain were expunged. The last oil pumps were officially restarted. The last heroes of the battle had made their last stand, some becoming martyrs. Amidst it all, the flag of none other than
Super Earth stood across every region. Oshaune was finally liberated.
The last evacuation shuttle Pelican is leaving Oshaune with Helldivers on board who have successfully completed the task. November 4th, 2185.
This monumental victory could not have been achieved without the entire brilliant class of every wing of
Super Earth. The workers at the
Centre of Science who had developed coatings for our Super Destroyers. The same scientists who had further developed improvements to the
Democracy Space Station, which proved imperative to reducing the
Terminids' resistance rates on Oshaune and enabling its righteous liberation. The officials of High Command whom had approved the usage of different support weapons to turn the tide in Super Earth's favor.
Yet, of course, the majority of the plaudits all go to one brilliant source: the
Helldivers. They defended Hellmire time and time again to enable the liberation of Oshaune. They braved the foul orange lakes of Oshaune that slowed their movement to a crawl, all whilst violent
Terminid mutants mobbed them from under the ground, on the surface, and from the sky. They dove deep into the cavernous, twisting, churning caves that threatened to devour them at any moment, destroying Stalker Lairs and Mega Nests with precision. They served as martyrs whilst they eliminated the monstrous Hive Lords at every opportunity, never backing down from a fight. They extracted E-711, demolished every Spore Lung hidden deep within the caves, and most importantly, raised the glorious flag of
Super Earth everywhere they could. They gave millions upon millions of their lives to bring freedom to a world that lost it entirely. They, above all else, liberated Oshaune.
In the immediate aftermath of the liberation of Oshaune, the fruits of the hard work required to free the planet from the claws of tyranny began to show. The Gloom, which had covered Oshaune's neighbor, Fori Prime, along with Azur Secundus, Overgoe Prime, and Partion, had now completely disappeared from each planet's atmosphere after becoming detached from The Gloom itself. It was as if the light of Lady Liberty had begun to shine across the entirety of the Eastern Front- even those afflicted with the curse of the disgusting
Terminid plague.
In addition to, of course, a significant reduction in the volume of space infected by the Gloom and the area of planets, which significantly affected the reduction in the combat capability of fascist insects on all occupied planets, the actions taken by
Super Earth are no less important now.
S.E.A.F. speleology teams have begun large-scale mapping of the planet's cave system networks and searching for undiscovered E-711 deposits. The corpses of the destroyed colossal Hive Lords would be butchered and sent off-world in parts, with the purpose of research for the benefit of science and the economy of the Federation. On the surface of the planet itself, the first sites of the E-711 extraction facility have already begun work, the huge reserves of which are of paramount value to the Super Earth.
To every
Helldiver who participated in the liberation of the Hive World, who freed this once innocent world from the vicious grip of
Terminid claws, this stands as a tribute to not just the liberation of the world itself -- but to all the benefits reaped from your sacrifices. You will never be forgotten. And to those who survived, you have been awarded a cape in commemoration for your services.
