Ministries are executive governmental departments of Super Earth that are tasked with specific duties. Each Ministry is headed by a Minister and has at least one mega-corporation that officially works closely with it.

Ministry of Truth[]

The Ministry of Truth is a Ministry of Super Earth that distributes information and propaganda based on government-approved facts and democratic values to the public. Strohmann Media is a mega-corporation that works closely with this Ministry.

Ministry of Defense[]

The Ministry of Defense is a Ministry of Super Earth that manages the Super Earth Armed Forces and their Helldivers, protecting the Federation against external and other serious threats. Morgunson is a mega-corporation that works closely with this Ministry.

Ministry of Unity[]

“	The Ministry of Unity ensures that all of mankind is united as one by protecting us from internal threats, such as deviant behavior and expression of dangerous ideas.	„

The Ministry of Unity is a Ministry of Super Earth that maintains the internal safety of the Federation, enforcing loyalty through policing and ensuring that all citizens are protected from dissident ideas and behavior. PermaCura is a mega-corporation that works closely with this Ministry.

The Ministry of Expansion is a Ministry of Super Earth that expands the Federation's territory and engages in exploration, colonization and mining operations throughout the galaxy. Ulterior is a mega-corporation that works closely with this Ministry.

Ministry of Science[]

The Ministry of Science is a Ministry of Super Earth that conducts scientific research and development of new technologies to gain the upper hand in the Galactic War and further the Federation's society. Ampudyne is a mega-corporation that works closely with this Ministry.

Ministry of Humanity[]

The Ministry of Humanity is a Ministry of Super Earth that is in charge of human resources in the Federation through the handling of education, healthcare, social grading, and gene management. C.O.B Genetics is a mega-corporation that works closely with this Ministry.

Ministry of Prosperity[]

The Ministry of Prosperity is a Ministry of Super Earth that is in charge of the Federation's economic planning and manages the distribution of resources to everyone, especially the most deserving. Trustor is a mega-corporation that works closely with this Ministry.

Ministry of Intelligence[]

The Ministry of Intelligence is a Ministry of Super Earth that gathers and analyzes intel and data to support the Federation's decision-making and give it the upper hand over all of its enemies.

Trivia[]

The Ministries of Super Earth, like many other aspects of the games such as Helldivers 1 being set in 2084 and Helldivers 2 being set in 2184, appear to be explicit homages to the Ministries of Oceania in George Orwell's dystopian novel 1984. The Ministry of Truth is a direct reference to 1984's Ministry of Truth, both being the ministry of information and propaganda that twists the facts for the regime, while the Ministry of Unity and its Loyalty Officers are a reference to the antagonistic Ministry of Love and its Thought Police from the novel, which enforce the regime's orders.

The current confirmed logos of the Ministries were gleaned from early Helldivers 2 concept art, which showed several of the corporations with the logo of their associated Ministry. When asked about this concept art, Arrowhead officially revealed which logo belonged to which Ministry. The only Ministry whose logo has not been revealed so far is the Ministry of Intelligence.

Beyond this, there are singular mentions of other ministry names which are understood to be developer oversights as a result of early ministry names making it into the game:

A "Ministry of Employment" is only mentioned on the Helldiver Contract of Employment, in the context of performing social grading. Social grading is explicitly stated to be a function of the Ministry of Humanity (along with employment, as seen when it employed the DSS workers), meaning the "Ministry of Employment" was likely the original name for the Ministry of Humanity.
A "Ministry of Information" is only mentioned in the pre-rendered intro cinematic of Helldivers 2, and was the original name for the Ministry of Truth as confirmed in concept art.
A "Ministry of Safety" is mentioned in a loading screen tip in Helldivers 1, encouraging citizens to report suspicious activity; it has the same role as the Ministry of Unity of Helldivers 2, so it was likely just renamed by the developers.
