Utilizing inferior technology they have become obsessed with the manipulation of their bodies and constantly seek to pervert the skin with machines that according to them, gives them a higher meaning in life.
Cyborg leaders have recently declared their sovereignty from Super Earth, stating violently that "Super Earth's ideals are a lie and the people are brain washed", in an attempt to bring more followers to their heinous cause.

- The Automatons from Helldivers 2 share a similar star-shaped symbol as the Cyborgs, as they are heavily implied to be descended from the original faction.
- Evidence of this exists from a series of tweets in binary posted by the Helldivers Twitter[1] which translate as: "We, the collective from Cyberstan, unanimously assert our independence from Super Earth. We have the right to defend our home from the brainwashed Helldivers. Our children, the automaton will not suffer as we have under the oppression of Super Earth!"[2].
