The Hanzo Sector is a sector found in Helldivers 2. It consists of 5 planets. It is currently almost completely occupied by the tyrannical 
Illuminate.
History[]
Second Galactic War (8-2-2184 — 12-12-2184)[]
The Hanzo Sector, was one of many sectors on the Galactic South, same as many other sectors, these colonies remained largely unnoticed throughout most of the Second Galactic War, serving as a safe and democratic home for displaced citizens from across the galaxy. All seven colonies prospered under the banner of Managed Democracy. Until the Illuminate returned on December 2184.

After the catastrophic defeat of the Illuminate on the Battle of Calypso, and their reconsideration again as extinct, was proved wrong on the 16 of December 2184, when the anti-democratic aliens attacked Genesis Prime, on the Rictus Sector, the Illuminate abandoned the planet, without conquering it, this left the 
High Command extremely confused; it was then discovered that the Illuminate's objective was a "hit-and-run" invasion, and later, that their ultimate goal was to generate Dark Energy to power the 
Meridian Black Hole against Super Earth. While the Campaign of Terror was started, scientists of the Ministry of Defense predicted that the next attack will be on New Stockholm, but instead, it went to Andar and Acubens Prime[1], and the Hanzo Sector wasn't attacked until the 26th of December, on Heze Bay, and then, Alairt III, Alamak VII.
After the Battle for Super Earth[]

After (another) catastrophic defeat of the Illuminate in the Battle for Super Earth, the xenophobic beings fled in terror to the southern parts of the Galaxy, revealing themselves on Bellatrix, Hydrobius, Haldus and Mog but the 
Helldivers couldn't repel all Illuminate Strongholds, and Hybrobius and Haldus remained under Illuminate control, until a catastrophic error in multiple 
Super Earth's Satellites failed, cutting all connection with various planets on the Hanzo Sector, such as Alamak VII or Heze Bay, but then, on the 17th of June, it was discovered that the Illuminate had occupied these planets, and their cities, for this, the Super Earth High Command declared a new Major Order, ordering the Helldivers to liberate Alamak VII and Alairt III, MO which failed, Alamak VII was liberated, but Alairt was not.
Operation Ultrakill[]
When the Illuminate tried to take the Maximum Security City on Fort Sanctuary, multiple planets were attacked in the Hanzo Sector, such as Alamak VII, which was lost once more, but New Stockholm stood tall against the Illuminate invasion, which stayed free, but without any real strategic importance, until the Operation Calamari Damacy, when the allied FTL Line was used to liberate Alamak VII, to open the way to Alaraph.
