Omens of Tyranny (December 2184 - May 2185)[]

Grafmere was, much like all the colonies in its sector, a peaceful planet colony of Super Earth. Despite being discovered during the First Galactic War, it wouldn't be until the end of the conflict when the first colonists began to arrive to the planet. Following its settlements, not many other events worthy of note would occur, while its economy boomed and allowed for the inhabitants of the planet to finance the construction of urbanized settlements.
A Helldiver is forced to abandon their position in an urban colony after being destroyed by an Eagle-1 airstrike. January 8th, 2185.
However, this prosperity and peace would attract the attention of an old, nefarious foe long thought extinct: The 
Illuminate. On January 8th, the Illuminate sent a raid onto Grafmere mere hours after their prior success at Botein. The Helldivers would have to immediately divert a contingent towards Grafmere in order to contain the invaders and mitigate the damage as they struggled to coordinate between the three fronts while High Command worked on new orders, however they wouldn't be able to succesfully commit their full strength as they were occupied with operations against the Automatons in the Marspira Sector.
During this period, when Illuminate were plundering the galactic south of Federation, Grafmere was raided only one more time on 14th of April. It is unknown why this planet was relatively spared, compared to its neighbor's. As with most of Squid raid's during that time, it was left mostly uncontested, as Helldivers were tasked with more important missions.
Operation Thrice as Nice[1][]
Illuminate warp ships have appeared above the planet on morning of August 22nd, 2185. This came as a third major offensive aimed at the Federation, while both 
Automatons and 
Terminids were advancing on their own fronts. With those events unfolding, High Command has issued an emergency acceleration of Super Destroyer fleet expansion. The Helldivers must hold for next 96 hours and await reinforcements.
With 
Helldivers arleady spread thin across other fronts, Illuminate captured the planet without any meaningful resistance. It is only expected they will continue their path north.

- June 13th, 2184: FTL lines to Kerth Secundus, Iro and Oasis are destroyed.
- June 17th, 2185: FTL lines to Iro and Oasis are re-established.
- July 14th, 2185: New FTL lines to Kerth Secundus and Parsh are established.
