Constant eruptions keep this planet covered in lava flows and utterly inhospitable to Democratic life. It also makes it a treasure trove of rare minerals.
~ Official Description

Fury is one of the six planets that reside within the Xzar Sector. Alongside K and Mox, Fury was one of the first three Volcanic planets to be added to the map on December 4th, 2025.

Fury is officially described by the Ministry of Expansion Insignia Ministry of Expansion as a "Magma Planet" with a Volcanic Biome. As the name would imply, the planet's entire landmass is dotted by magma lakes and active volcanoes as far as one's eyes can witness the flowing liquid mineral riches. Understandably, the constant spewing of hot volcanic gases and the never-ending flow of molten rock and minerals results in the planet's climate being extremely hot to the point that it is uninhabitable for most common lifeforms and unsuitable for colonization or any normal economic activity to be performed by the citizenry of the Super Earth Icon Federation of Super Earth.

The Blazing Chasms of Fury

The Blazing Chasms of Fury

Helldivers Companion Helldivers deploying into Fury will be able to perform their operations much like in any other planet thanks to their armor's protection. However, the planet's volcanic activity predictably raises the surface temperature to extreme degrees, increasing the stamina drain of sprinting and increasing the heat buildup rate of weapons reliant on heat sinks, while also making them cool down slower.

Besides the Intense Heat, Helldivers also have to tread carefully around the previously mentioned Magma lakes that cover the planet's surface, as doing so much as even touching the edge of them with one's liberating toe can set a Helldiver ablaze and kill them in seconds. Other risks found on this planet include smaller volcanoes that can sometimes be found on points of interest, which will erupt should they be disturbed by any munitions. Armors that provide fire resistance in any way are wholeheartedly recommended for any personnel conducting operations in this area.

Despite Fury's inhospitable conditions, some small shrubberies and cacti can be found strewn throughout the surface, scattered among the basalt that litters the scorched wastes and ridges of this blazing planet. Caution is advised when around cacti, as those who get too close to them can get picked by the thorns and will slowly lose health as they try to move away, much like being stuck in barbed wire.

The Fury System consists of planet Fury itself, its beige, rocky moon and at least 4 other astronomical bodies, which are a gas giant, its orbiting moon, another volcanic exoplanet and a third rocky, orange planet. Additionally, 2 nebulas can be observed from Fury's orbit, one orange and one blue. While some sources place Fury as the planet closest to its star in the system[1], more information on the matter remains classified. The Fury System had been kept listed off the Galactic War Map due to its total lack of habitability making it seemingly incapable of supporting colonization. At some point during the Second Galactic War, the Automatons Icon Automaton Legion conquered Fury and other Volcanic planets like it and, due to their mechanized forms being resistant to the lava, began conducting mining operations on these planets to extract the minerals that they had otherwise failed to obtain in planets like Imber, Claorell and Malevelon Creek.

Following the discovery of Illegal Automatons Icon Automaton Mining Operations on these previously unaccounted Volcanic planets, Fury would see itself thrust right into one of the most valuable fronts against the socialist aggressors. The position of the Fury System, right on the center of the empty gap between Ustotu, Mort and Choepessa IV, makes it a highly formidable lynchpin through which both the Automatons Icon Automatons could launch another westward offensive towards their old territories in the Severin Sector and through which the Super Earth Icon Federation can flank the western Automaton lines and conduct offensives into the Ymir Sector. Due to its abundant mineral resources and its extremely valuable positioning, the Fury System is critical to the greater effort against the Automatons Icon Cyberstani Usurpation.

Fury was, for much of recorded history, one of the many Volcanic planets that are strewn across the cosmos. Having been discovered by Super Earth at some point during its many decades of spacefaring, Fury would be unable to receive the blessing of Managed Democracy, as its gift of fire rendered it uninhabitable for most lifeforms and unsuitable for extended human settlement. Despite this, Super Earth would keep Fury off of its military operation maps, as it assumed Fury could not be taken advantage of by any of the enemies of Freedom. However, this assumption would cost the Super Earth Icon Federation in due time.

At some point during the early years of the Second Galactic War, the Fury System, alongside many other Volcanic planets like it, would be conquered by a previously unseen enemy. An aberration forged in steel and actuated by socialist hatred: Automatons Icon The Automaton Legion.

Following their cruel conquest of Fury, the Automatons began to illegally pillage the chasms of the planet, extracting minerals from the surface with complete impunity, both because of the complete absence from the warriors of Liberty and the apparent imperviousness to the flames that the aggressors showcased.

It's gift of fire rendered useless, all hope seemed lost for the volcanic planet and its mineral riches. However, Liberty would soon enact vengeance for this heinous infringement upon its creation. On December 4th, 2185, the Government of Super Earth would uncover the Automaton mining operations happening on Fury's surface, as well as other volcanic planets like it such as Mox and K. The cost of the Federation's decision to avoid monitoring these planets closely due to their inhospitable environments became gravely clear, as every mineral stolen by the Automatons became the stolen future of another one of the Federation's children.

Super Earth High Command immediately established FTL Lines into Fury, with later reports discovering FTL connections to Mox and K behind Automaton lines, and issued a High Priority Campaign ordering the Helldivers Companion Helldivers to liberate Fury, Mox and K in order to prevent the Automatons from perpetuating their exploitative larceny. In a few hours, more than 60,000 Super Destroyers were in orbit over Fury, deploying squads of Helldivers onto its surface to rightfully reclaim the stolen platinum and liberate the blazing planet.

The campaign on Fury got off to a solid start, as the Helldivers deployed en masse with the Super Earth Icon Democracy Space Station and its active Eagle Storm providing much needed close air support against the fortified Automaton positions. While the main goal was to liberate the planet, the Helldivers also had orders to seize as many extracted minerals and fusion battery cells as they could, with multiple strikes being carried against platinum quarries and depots all across the planet. Why the Automatons were mainly after platinum was not yet known, however the metals properties such as its inability to corrode even at extreme temperatures, its imperviousness to chemical reactions and its rarity even in a galactic scale could provide some indication as to why the Automatons coveted this precious metal.

Hours into the campaign, reports began coming in that the Automatons Icon Automatons had been using their cover on Fury to attempt to synthesize a mysterious "primordial soup" using the heat of the planet. This primordial soup, rich in amino acids, stem cells and glucose, showed all the basic ingredients necessary for the creation of organic lifeforms. This revelation would generate innumerable questions, and resulted in High Command issuing additional orders for the Helldivers to destroy any and all Automaton Bio-Processors found, but to also make sure to secure research samples of this mysterious fluid for further analysis.

Helldivers Companion The Helldivers, despite all the difficulties they had to face, were able to adapt fairly quickly. As part of a fairly rapid offensive, taking into account the geography of the planet, as of 8:40 SEST on the 5th of December, half of Fury's surface was liberated. By this time, the Super Earth Icon Democracy Space Station's support would run out, however the Helldivers would continue their efforts undeterred.

The battle continued for many hours on Fury's surface until, on December 6th, the Automaton forces on Fury were completely eliminated. Despite the great victory over the mechanized menace, more disturbing revelations came to light. Analysis soon revealed that the "primordial soup" samples extracted from the planet by the Helldivers were most certainly taken off kidnapped Super Earth children[2], in yet another heinous atrocity willingly committed by the Automatons Icon Automaton Legion. The Super Earth Association for Childhood Safety (SOSEAFC) released a statement condeming the incident.

  • Despite official trailers and the Major Order briefing explaining that the Volcanic worlds were never colonized due to the hostile environment, players can still find standard POIs and Side Objectives on this planet, such as SEAF SAM Sites, bunkers and others.
  • Fury's name within the game files appears to be Fury-I, which would make it the planet closest to its eponymous star in its system.
