Durgen is one of the five planets that reside within the Severin Sector. Its landscape consists of open deserts and high, rocky plateaus with horrid weather conditions.
Topography[ | ]
Durgen is a naturally arid and hot planet. One that suffers from extremely erratic weather patterns and is known for its intense and incredibly long sandstorms. This natural lack of visibility and brief natural forms of cover, was especially difficult for the Helldivers.
Durgen: The Last Automaton Bastion[ | ]
The Phase 4 of Operation Swift Disassembly stated it clearly: Annihilate the Automatons.
A couple of days earlier, Maia and Tibit were liberated, leaving Durgen as the only remaining Automaton planet. After the helldivers showed their true courage and took the Creek by overwhelming numbers, they took the same approach to Durgen. On April 7th, Durgen was liberated in less than a day, marking the presumed annihilation of the Automatons.
Durgen took the record previously held by Malevelon Creek for the highest amount of deployments to any planet (43 % of the Helldiver Corps).
High Command confirmed that 43,078,005 Helldivers died on Durgen, killed by the Socialist War Machine.
