~ Official Description |
Dolph is one of the four planets that reside within the Nanos Sector.
History[]
Second Galactic War[]
Dolph was, for much of its recorded history, a peaceful planet colony of Super Earth in the Nanos Sector. Despite its proximity to the initial Automaton expeditions in February 2184, it had little involvement in the conflict, despite the attacks on its neighbors Duma Tyr and Julheim. However, this fragile peace would soon be shattered.
Operation Tormenta De Fuego[]
After an eternity of peace and quiet suspense, Tyranny struck. In the later stages of the Operation, the Helldivers would be unable to defend Dolph, as their forces were heavily split between defending planets from the robots and gathering E-710 from the
Terminids. Dolph would fall within the day to the
Incineration Corps. However, as quickly as Tyranny had come, it would soon leave.
The Siege of Dolph - Operation Martyr's Calling[]
The siege of Dolph started on March 24, 2185, a day after the liberation of Julheim. Since the Automatons at Dolph had been cut off from Cyberstan, their forces were unable to properly mount any coordinated resistance, which left the planet open for liberation.
The planet would be placed under siege by the forces of Super Earth. With most of the
S.E.A.F. preocuppied by the fight to stop Meridia, a small handful would still be fighting on the planet, whittling down the fiendish robots on its surface. The Automatons were cut off from the rest of their empire, unable to call for backup. despite this, Dolph remained in the clutches of socialism until finally, the opportunity came.
On March 30th, 2185, the desperate Automatons foolishly launched an assault off of Dolph, targeting the nearby Caph system in the neighboring Theseus Sector. This attack attracted heavy Helldiver mobilization, and because of its isolated status, Dolph would be swiftly liberated and quickly put to an end the horrendous occupation.
