Clasa is one of the six planets that reside within the Tanis Sector.
Topography[]
Similar to X-45
History[]
Second Galactic War[]
Operation Liberty Tide[]
Clasa was, much like X-45, a sort of forgotten planet colony of Super Earth, far off into the Western galactic fringe. However, unlike X-45, Clasa had managed to be colonized and settled some time after the First Galactic War, as well as remaining inhabitable and productive. However, the Automatons, in their hatred of Super Earth's capitalist might, could not stand such a simple existence, for their drive to pollute planets with socialism was embedded into their transistors.
By September 2184, the Tanis Sector had become a frontline region of the Automaton front, shortly after the Helldivers had decisively repelled the Automaton attacks against Imber. However, the Helldivers weren't sufficiently manned and the Terminids continued to spread their fascism, which led to the Helldivers having to constantly bounce between fronts. Amidst an unusually difficult liberation campaign on Pandion-XXIV, the Automatons at Vog-Sojoth decided to launch a dual attack and, on September 18th, launched assaults at both Clasa and Claorell, with the bulk of the Automaton forces falling at Clasa.
After the fall of Clasa on September 19th, it became the new forward operations base for the robotic armies in the Tanis Sector, as its stood at an important chokepoint that cut off Zefia, Demiurg and Yed Prior from the rest of the FTL Network, making it a critical planet to control.
Yet, despite its critical location, the Helldivers have been continuously driven away from any serious liberation efforts on Clasa, mostly due to its remoteness and the constant surge of higher priority objectives.
Interim (Sept. 19th-)[]
Since the fall of Clasa in September, the swampy planet had fallen under full Automaton control. Between the months October to December, the heavily reinforced garrison at Clasa would go on to send assaults towards Zefia, Yed Prior, and Demiurg in the time ever since. While the Helldivers were able to repel the attack at Demiurg, they were unable to protect Zefia and Yed Prior from falling to the bots. In turn, the fall of the aforementioned planets would strike a disaster for the SEAF, as the Automatons would reestablish FTL lines between the Tanis Sector and its northern neighbor, the Gellert Sector. The bots would mount an offensive into Blistica and Mintoria, before combining those forces into a sizable assault at Zzaniah Prime. All 3 planets would fall under Automaton occupation and the bots' control over the Tanis and Gellert Sectors would become more and more inevitable by the day.
