Each of the Armor Sets has a trait that enhances and differentiates it from the other armors. This is separate from the armor class (Heavy, Medium, Light) although some traits are only found in some classes.

Extra Padding Increases armor rating (+50). Helldivers Mobilize
Scout -Enemy detection range reduced by 30%.
-Minimap markers will ping every two seconds to reveal enemy units nearby
(Affected by the UAV Recon Booster. does not work if the map is disrupted by Terminid spores or ion storms).
Helldivers Mobilize
Fortified -Reduces vertical recoil while crouching or prone by 30%.
-50% resistance to explosive damage
(does not affect ragdoll distance)

Engineering Kit -Reduces vertical recoil by 30% while crouching or prone.
-Starting and maximum grenade capacity +2.

Med-Kit -Stim capacity +2.
-Duration of stim effect +2.0 sec. (stacks with Experimental Infusion and the P-11 Stim Pistol is also affected.)
Helldivers Mobilize
Democracy Protects -Prevents all damage from chest bleeding.
-50% chance to survive lethal damage with 1 HP.
(there is no limit or cooldown of this effect)
Helldivers Mobilize
Servo Assisted -Max throw range goes from 40-50m to 65-80m.
-Arms and legs have 50% more health, which makes them more resistant to injury.
(stacks with the Vitality Booster)
Steeled Veterans
Electrical Conduit -95% resistance to arc damage.
-Also lowers stun buildup, which makes it less likely to be stunned or ragdolled by arc attacks.
Cutting Edge
Peak Physique -100% increase to melee damage (includes emotes that count as melee attacks).
-Reduces weapon sway imposed when aiming while moving.
Viper Commandos
Inflammable -75% resistance to fire damage. This includes both direct fire damage and DoT from being set on fire. Freedom's Flame
Advanced Filtration -80% resistance to gas damage.
(vision is still impaired while gassed)
Chemical Agents
Unflinching -Flinching when aiming while damaged is heavily reduced.
-Increases armor rating (+25).
-Minimap markers will ping every two seconds to reveal enemy units nearby

Truth Enforcers
Siege-Ready -Primary weapons reload 30% faster.
-All weapons have 20% more ammunition (For mag-fed weapons, this appears as one or two extra magazines). -Both effects extends to support weapons that do not use backpack ammo carriers.
Urban Legends
Acclimated -50% damage reduction from fire, electricity, gas, and acid. Killzone crossover
Integrated Explosives -Armor explodes 1.5 seconds after the wearer dies.
-Starting and maximum grenade capacity +2.
Servants of Freedom
Gunslinger -40% shorter time to reload sidearm.
-50% shorter time to draw/holster sidearm.
-70% reduction to sidearm recoil.
Borderline Justice
Reinforced Epaulettes
-Gives uses a 50% chance to negate a broken arm or a leg when damaged.
-Primary weapons reload 30% faster.
-50% increase to melee damage.
Masters of Ceremony
Ballistic Padding
-Reduces total damage done to the chest by 25%
-25% resistance to explosive damage
-Prevents all damage from chest bleeding.

Unavailable
