Alathfar XI is one of the five planets that reside within the Akira Sector.

Operation Democracy Delivered[]
Alathfar XI was a peaceful colony of Super Earth right outside the edge of the Southern Galactic Mid Rim. Having been colonized after the First Galactic War, Alathfar's colonists would see their economy grow stably and prosper throughout the generations, as their location made it a crucial spaceport for the rest of its sector. With this economic miracle, Alathfar's citizens soon managed to finance the construction of urban settlements with which to sustain its growing populace.
However, this prosperity was also something that attracted the envy of an old enemy long thought extinct: The 
Illuminate. On January 19th, 2185, they sent out an invasion fleet towards Alathfar XI, amidst a campaign of "planet-hopping" raids that had been going on since December 2184. The Helldivers, having orders to repel all Illuminate raids they could, would immediately deploy their main fleet towards the planet, leaving the rest of their forces behind at Heeth to aid with its liberation campaign. Sadly, even this display of democracy was not enough to repel the alien invasion in time and, consequently, the Illuminate would withdraw after 12 hours of fighting.
However, the Illuminate had taken heavy losses in exchange for their loot and needed to recover their lost Voteless numbers direly. As such, they would immediately set onto performing multi-planet attacks for the remaining 2 days of the operation, hoping to at least plunder 1 planet unimpeded. This approach would only accomplish the opposite, as their overstretched forces proved easier to annihilate with the use of the Democracy Space Station and allowed them to score victory after victory.
Yet, the Illuminate had no choice but to press their multi-planet attacks, targeting those that they noticed the Helldivers avoiding the most, such as Asperoth Prime on January 20th. On January 21st, the Illuminate launched a second multi-planet assault onto Setia, Hort and Alathfar XI. The Helldivers would do their best to rotate towards Alathfar XI, obviously having to split their forces to at least make some advances on the other 2 planets and, hopefully, allowing for a turn-around once Alathfar XI was secured.
