This world teems with ethereal, boundless, and peculiar plant life that spreads silent and uninterrupted across its entire surface.
~ Official Description

Alamak VII is one of the five planets that reside in the Hanzo Sector. Alongside Alairt III, it is one of the two most important urban cores in its sector, as well as being a strategically crucial chokepoint due to its connections with the Rictus and Akira Sectors.

Alamak VII was one of six planets that became unobservable in the Galactic South due to a sabotaged satellite on June 13th, 2185. It was then discovered on June 17th that the Illuminate Icon Illuminate had seized control of all six planets in secret, and most importantly, had taken over and re-engineered Alamak's cityscapes.

Topography and Astrography[]

Similar to Acubens Prime, Alamak VII is a planet covered in an ethereal, idyllic lavender jungle. It is filled with all types of peculiar xenoflora scattered between the many geysers that dot its otherwise pristine lilac grasslands and hills. On its north and south poles lay oceans of sharply blue water, with the southern ocean taking up a significant portion of its hemisphere. While Alamak VII consists of only 1 supercontinent, said landmass is dotted in several small lakes with only 1 notable geographical accident to be found, which is the Strait of No Compound, named after the settlement of the same name.

Alamak VII is home to 4 Mega Cities. Mega City Tiers have no effect on level generation and only determine a city's health pool in the galactic map. The Mega Cities found on Alamak VII are, by tier, the Settlement of No Compound, the Town of Kesuma, the City of Ungu and the planetary capital Mega City of Filibuster. Beyond those cities, Alamak VII is home to a great number of smaller urbanized settlements that dot the otherwise wild, fertile and untamed wilderness.

These settlements come well equipped with running public services and contain several SEAF logo S.E.A.F. installations, from SEAF SAM Sites to SEAF Artillery batteries that can be helpful in pushing back any alien invaders. North of the settlement of No Compound, the town of Kesuma can be found, while the city of Ungu is found some kilometres east and the planetary capital of Filibuster is found some latitudes west, laying on a bay facing the southern pole's ocean.

The Alamak System consists of Alamak VII itself and atleast 6 other planets before it, among which are a mysterious lunar-like beige planet, a red dwarf planet and a volcanic planet. The Alamak System, along with the Alairt System make up the urban core of the Hanzo Sector, possessing 4 out of the 8 Mega Cities that the Hanzo Sector has within its boundaries.

These cities house millions of citizens and represent a great deal of capital investment by the citizens of the Federation. As such, the Alamak System stands as an important civic, economic and military asset that is to be recovered from the Illuminate Icon Illuminate Cult and defended by any and all means necessary.

Alamak VII was an unimportant planet colony of Super Earth, right outside the southern edge of the Galactic Mid Rim. Besides its colonization after the end of the First Galactic War, it does not have many events worth mentioning, as its location in the galactic map allowed it to have a strong economy that would keep the colony stable and prosperous for many decades, which would allow its citizens to finance the construction of urbanized settlements and what would later become the cities of Ungu, Kesuma, No Compound and the planetary capital of Filibuster.

However, during all this time, the remnant of an ancient empire lurked in the shadows, waiting for the moment to strike. The Illuminate Icon Illuminate, an old foe that had once defied mankind, had impossibly resurfaced back from their presumed extinction.

On January 3rd, 2185, early in the morning, the Illuminate Icon Illuminate launched an attack onto Alamak VII. The Helldivers Companion Helldivers would only be able to dispatch a small contigent in order to deal with the Illuminate, as they had orders to push back the Automatons Icon Automaton Vanguard at the Marspira Sector in order to make way for a new Center for Citizen Surveillance and Safety. Unfortunately, this contingent proved insufficient to contain the Illuminate and the raid would only end once the Illuminate left, leaving Alamak VII in ruins.

However, the invading aliens seemed dissatisfied with their haul from their pillaging and decided to return to Alamak VII again on January 10th. Now with orders to defend the Farsight Sector from a Terminids Icon Terminid onslaught, the Helldivers Companion Helldivers would only be able to dispatch a small force towards Alamak to alleviate the situation.

After this invasion, the Illuminate Icon Illuminate would leave the planet alone until a brand-new raid on the 27th of February. However, due to a previously unrecorded intergalactic phenomena, Illuminate warp portals became disrupted, preventing the Illuminate from making further progress on the invasion. As of now the Illuminate advance has been halted. However, until the phenomena is fully researched, Helldivers Companion Helldiver forces on the planet had been ordered to halt progress on its liberation.

By the 28th of February, Counter invasion efforts would resume and, 3 days later, the Illuminate Icon Illuminate would withdraw from the planet after obtaining the Dark Energy they wanted. Alamak VII would be invaded in two other occasions during March of 2185. Once on the 16th, which would see the Illuminate raiders successfully plunder the planet, and once again on the 28th, which saw the Illuminate plunderers valiantly repelled by the Helldivers Companion Helldivers.

Operation Squid Eviction[]

Prior to the operation, Alamak VII had been invaded on April 7th, just weeks before the Illuminate Icon Illuminate shifted their focus towards the Altus Sector. However, the effects of this last raid would leave Alamak's defenses weakened and paved the way for the horrors it would endured next.

After the Super Earth Satellite Observation Network was reconnected, a chilling discovery was made: several colonies in the southern part of the galaxy had been occupied by the Illuminate Icon Illuminate. Not only that, they weren't just hideouts; the enemies of freedom had transformed the once beacons of managed democracy into totalitarian strongholds.

Alamak VII was one of the unfortunate planets that suffered the cruel fate of becoming forward bases of tyranny. However, the Helldivers Companion Helldivers focused on this planet, specifically the town of Kesuma, which was quickly liberated and, on June 20th, the entire planet would soon follow after the liberation of the settlement of No Compound two days prior, denying the Illuminate Icon Illuminate from this crucial center of commerce.

Despite the success on Alamak VII, the Helldivers Companion Helldivers would be unable to liberate Alairt III and Operation Squid Eviction would ultimately fail.

Operation Culling Nightmares[]

However, Alamak's freedom wasn't fated to last. On July 23rd, the Illuminate Icon Illuminate would attack Alamak VII and nearby New Stockholm, the headquarters of Stähl Arms, a strategic partner of the Ministry of Defence Insignia Ministry of Defense. Because of this, the Helldivers Companion Helldivers would be forced to defend New Stockholm while being unable to divert more resources towards Alamak VII in time due to the ongoing operations at Claorell against the Automatons Icon Automatons. Despite the successful defense of the settlement of No Compound, Alamak VII would regrettably return to Illuminate subservience once the planet's defenses collapsed. Ever since, Alamak VII would remain a frontline planet from where the Illuminate tried and failed to capture New Stockholm multiple times.

Operation Calamari Damacy[]

Alamak VII would remain under Illuminate Icon Illuminate control ever since its fall on July. However, it wouldn't remain entirely cut off from freedom, as the Helldivers Companion Helldivers had managed to hold their position at New Stockholm, which kept Alamak VII open and allowed the SEAF logo S.E.A.F. to continue the fight. After the conclusion of Operation Ultrakill and the Tripartite Offensive, during which the Illuminate pushed the frontlines all the way to Seyshel Beach in the Cancri Sector, the Illuminate front had degenerated severely, with a scattered few planets poking holes behind the Illuminate frontlines. Alamak VII was one of these holes and it would soon prove to be its ticket back to Freedom's sweet embrace.

On September 23rd, Super Earth High Command would identify the planet Karlia to have ideal gravitational and atmospheric conditions for the aerosolizing of spore-resistant polymers that were to be applied as coating onto the Super Earth Icon Democracy Space Station. As such, the Helldivers Companion Helldivers received orders to liberate and hold Karlia, as well as the planets Alaraph and Hydrobius. Due to Alamak's connection to Karlia, Helldiver Tactical Command immediately designated Alamak VII as a priority target in order for the operation to proceed onto Alaraph as intended.

Soon, up to 80,000 Super Destroyers and the Super Earth Icon DSS would be on orbit, with the DSS moving in with its Orbital Blockade already active. Half of the Helldivers Companion Helldivers on Alamak VII would deploy onto the city of Ungu to support SEAF logo S.E.A.F. liberation operations in hopes of establishing a beachhead from which to then continue planetary liberation efforts at a greater scale, while the other half of the Helldivers would conduct deployments across the many urbanized settlements across the planet's surface.

By noon of September 24th, the city of Ungu had been successfully liberated, greatly advancing the planetary liberation campaign and expediting the progress of the operation. With the liberation of Ungu, the Illuminate Icon Illuminate forces withdrew into the Town of Kesuma, where the SEAF logo S.E.A.F. immediately gave pursuit, as liberation efforts continued planetwide. The campaign would proceed without much impediments and, by evening, the Helldivers Companion Helldivers would successfully liberate the Town of Kesuma, with now half of the Illuminate forces having been eliminated. To avoid getting encircled in their headquarters, the Illuminate would withdraw into the settlement of No Compound, where the Helldivers immediately continued their righteous pursuit.

By the midnight of September 25th, 2185, the Helldivers Companion Helldivers would clear the settlement of No Compound and force the Illuminate Icon Illuminate occupiers to retreat into the planetary capital of Filibuster, where the SEAF logo S.E.A.F. immediately started deploying troops to besiege and eventually liberate the city with Helldivers Companion Helldiver support.

Thanks to the heroic efforts of the SEAF logo S.E.A.F. and Helldivers Companion Helldivers, Filibuster was succesfully liberated, making the first Super Earth Icon Super Earth's decisive victory against the Illuminate Icon Illuminate forces occupying the southern part of the galaxy, marking the second liberation of the Alamak System from the anti-democratic aliens, opening the way for the Helldivers Companion Helldivers to liberate the Alaraph System, and by addition, the Oasis System.

Operation Big Brother[]

Alamak, now freed from the oppressive tendrils of the Squ'ith, would finally enjoy a semblance of peace for some time. Having been a key chokepoint within the Galactic South, it was now hopefully time for Alamak's importance to wane slightly, so that the Illuminate Icon Illuminate would not continue to torment this world over and over again. Through November, this seemed to hold as the planet went on untouched by the War, even as the Illuminate launched an offensive at the beginning of the month aimed at making gains within the Xi Tauri and Akira Sectors. Luckily, this offensive would go down as an epic failure, as the Helldivers Companion Helldivers would singlehandedly rebuff the Squ'ith offensive at practically every turn, stopping the Illuminate Icon Illuminate from even reaching the targets of Andar and Asperoth Prime in Operation Bigger Apple- or even coming within 2 FTL lines of reaching either planet.

Following this brutal smackdown handed out by the Helldivers Companion Helldivers, the Illuminate Icon Illuminate would be forced to retreat to their holdings and try to make up for their obvious shortcomings. With the new Major Order issued on November 13th to collect common samples from the Illuminate and Automatons Icon Automaton fronts to expand the Goverment Icon Centre for Civilian Surveillance and Safety, a smaller contingent of Helldivers would aid in the Southern Front, particularly on planet Effluvia in the Cancri Sector. By roughly 23:30 SEST on the 15th of November, Effluvia was on the brink of liberation, and to make up for the loss of their northernmost capture, the Illuminate Icon Illuminate would plot to strike elsewhere.

At 23:25 SEST, with Effluvia just half an hour away from liberation status, 18 Illuminate Icon Illuminate invasion fleets would appear within the atmosphere of Alamak before beginning a significant ground assault upon its settlements, and its Megacity of Filibuster. Alamak's colonial overseer would make an SOS call for aid, and upon finishing the liberation of Effluvia and the defense of Lesath against the Automatons Icon Automatons, the Helldivers Companion Helldivers would begin to flock to Alamak in droves to stop the Squ'ith from even having a consolation victory in the wake of their prior failed offensive.

At 02:15 SEST on November 16th, as the defense of Lesath was completed, the Super Earth Icon Democracy Space Station, equipped with its Orbital Blockade feature, would arrive at Alamak's atmosphere to greatly aid in the planet's defense. With the arrival of the DSS and a mass influx of manpower, all momentum would be on the tide of liberty while the flood of tyranny began to subside.

Despite the effective actions of the defence forces, the squid aggressors managed to break through to the planet's second largest population centre – the Ungu City – at approximately 07:15 SEST on the 16th of November, occupying about 16% of the planet's surface. But it was in this city that SEAF logo S.E.A.F. set a trap for the Illuminate Icon Illuminate, meeting the occupiers with fierce resistance. The streets of this city became mass graves for hundreds and thousands of Illuminate after every clash, while SEAF personel carried out successful counterattacks and rapidly increased the area of the city completely protected from enemy attacks with each passing hour.

Some manpower would eventually be lost at 09:55 SEST as a sizable Terminids Icon Terminid attack began on Polaris Prime, drawing a surprisingly sizable portion of the Helldivers Companion Helldivers to the Eastern Front despite the focus of the order not being on the Terminid front. Even so, this wouldn't put too much of a dent in Alamak's defense as the plurality of the Corps still remained there to aid. The momentum still remains with the righteous so far.

The battle in Filibuster was not as successful, but under the circumstances, this was not necessary, because parallel to the combat in Ungu, the defence of urbanised colonies, agricultural estates and territories without a permanent population began to develop successfully. At approximately 14:15 SEST, the scales tippedSEAF logo S.E.A.F. in favour of Super Earth Icon Super Earth when the area of territory whose security was fully ensured began to exceed the area of the combat zone. By 14:30, this figure had exceeded 32%, indicating the extremely successful defensive strategy chosen by the Command, but the fighting was still ongoing, so the troops did not relax and continued to exterminate the Illuminate Icon Illuminate forces.

The fighting did not stop on the 17th of November. The Illuminate, bogged down in Filibuster and suffering huge losses in an unsuccessful offensive on the city of Ungu, decided to develop an offensive in other places, eventually managing to break through to the outskirts of two other major population centres on the planet – the Town of Kesuma and the Settlement of No Compound. However, the Helldivers and regular units continued to inflict irreparable damage to the Squ'ith forces and rapidly expanded the area completely free of tyrannical tentacles. On the afternoon of the 17th of November, all enemy units and pockets of resistance of the remnants of the attackers on Alamak VII were finally exterminated, which brought another victory to the list of achievements of the Super Earth Armed Forces.

Festival of Reckoning 2185[]

TLDR: Alamak VII attacked on December 26th. 48 hour defense. Kesuma defended but planet still fell due to lack of support because of ongoing Tarsh Jet Brigade assault.

Festival of Reckoning 2185[]

Celebrations on Alamak were abruptly stopped when a medium sized Illuminate Icon Illuminate descended upon the system on December 26th. The defense lasted 2 days, during which around 11% of active Helldivers Companion Helldivers assisted the local SEAF logo S.E.A.F. forces. With most of the forces on Tarsh on far west, progress was slow. Situation was slightly alleviated when city of Kesuma was defended, but the collapsing frontline was not mended on time. SEAF logo S.E.A.F. was forced to withdraw from Alamak on afternoon of December 28th.
