The AR-23P Liberator Penetrator is an assault rifle utilized in Helldivers 2. An armor piercing variant of the standard AR-23 Liberator, featuring a scope as well as the capability to penetrate medium armor.
It is unlocked in the sixth page of Warbond: Helldivers Mobilize.

As a high penetration automatic rifle, this weapon is effective against threats utilizing armor, as opposed to the performance of its standard issue variant, the AR-23 Liberator. Still effective in the role of eliminating weaker threats, if the increased recoil can be controlled, a major weakness of the standard Liberator is eliminated - making this weapon effective against threats utilizing medium armor.
Despite its armor penetration, shots which pierce medium armor deal noticeably reduced damage. As such, this should not be utilized as a weapon that simply ignores armor. Instead, aim for weak spots all the same. When fighting armored opponents, the strength of this weapon will shine when your shots which miss the weak spot will deal damage, instead of simply being ignored.
Burst is recommended when dealing with close range enemies while semi-auto is recommended when aiming with the scope.
Full auto is situationally useful, but the increased recoil will result in more harm than gain. It does you no good if the only thing you pump full of lead is the ground.
