| “ | A modified Liberator featuring explosive rounds which do less damage but stagger enemies. | „ |
| ~ Armory Description |
The AR-23C Concussive is a variant of the standard AR-23 Liberator. It features a red-dot sight, as well as explosive rounds that stagger enemies who are hit.
It is unlocked in the first page of Warbond: Steeled Veterans.
Role:[]
The AR-23C is a crowd-control weapon. It is designed to be shot at priority targets to stun and knock them back. This is especially useful for enemies with a special attacks, like terminid spewers and automaton rocket devastators, who's special attacks can be canceled with a successful hit. It can also stop fast enemies like stalkers, from closing the distance.
It is best paired with a high-damage weapon, as the Concussive Liberator's low RoF makes it struggle with actually killing enemies.

Notes[]
- While undocumented, the weapon's concussive effect causes enemies to stagger and be pushed back slightly upon taking damage with this weapon, the distance of which is dependent on how large the enemy is. This effect can be chained with subsequent hits, and it is entirely possible to stunlock several enemies with repeated hits.
- While medium-armored enemies will shrug off hits from this weapon, hitting them in their lighter-armored parts will still cause the concussive effect.
- For example, hitting a rocket devastator at their chest armor will have no effect, but hitting them in the arms, or the rocket pods, will cause a stun, as these only have light armor.
- Enemies with heavy and anti-tank level armor are immune to stuns.
- It is not very effective against spread-out hordes on it's own due to it's low RoF.
- Effective against both factions, however shines the most against terminids since most of their units only have light armor, or have easily-accessible lightly armored parts.
- The weapon's true effectiveness is most visible with a coordinated team, where one person shoots the AR-23C at targets of opportunity to stunlock them, while another person with a powerful weapon finishes them off with impunity.
